Santa Lucia
The work is an excellent example of cardboard Lecce, probably made in the studio of Guacci: even if they are almost in series, these artifacts are not diminished in their intrinsic beauty nor have lost the care of plastic parts, always finished carefully before coloring. Sweet and expressive, The Virgin is portrayed in the act of Syracuse ostendere eyes in a cup, symbol of his torture, and the palm of martyrdom, traditional attributes of the iconography luciana. Stands in the composition care profuse in the treatment of garments, processed with great aesthetic refinement, and bright polychrome that, although the variety of colors, are juxtaposed with taste and respect for tradition.
